PURPOSE:To test and diagnose a replacement determining circuit easily by controlling an interrupting circuit by a data transfer signal outputted from a buffer storage device through an interruptible mask freely set by a program. CONSTITUTION:Data are written in addresses 1,000-3,000 of a buffer. When data is further written in an address 5,000, a buffer dissidence signal showing that no address is present at the tag part of the buffer is generated, and consequently while an access request is sent to a main storage part through a buffer controller 6, an interruption command is generated. Then, when the data in the address 1,000 is read out and an interruptible mask 5 is turned on, an AND gate 7 is opened and so far as a replacement determining circuit is normal, the gate 7 generates an interruption signal, so that write data to the address 5,000 is written in the address 1,000. Thus, the replacement determining circuit is tested and diagnosed easily. |
