PURPOSE:To facilitate the specification of a sampling-recording position by performing two-dimensional position conversion by converting the position of picture image information of a read original adequately by picture image processing on the basis of the contents of an editing control tape prepared in advance. CONSTITUTION:After a digital copying system is placed in registration mode, a picture image signal obtained by reading an original by a digital scanner is stored in a storage device 2, and a position mark on the original is detected and stored in a storage device 3. A code pattern wherein the sampling positions and storage position of a picture image are made previously to correspond to each other is compared with the contents of an editing control table stored in a storage device 4 and read picture image information, and an editing controller 7 performs position conversion adequately by picture image processing. |
