PURPOSE:To eliminate the switching delay time, which is caused by the base storage effect of a carrier, with a simple constitution, by combining an output switching transistor and an input switching transistor. CONSTITUTION:An input signal vi is inverted at a time T0, and an input switching transistor TRQ2 is changed to the turn-off state from the turn-on state, and an input switching TRQ1 is changed from the turn-off state to the turn-on state. In this case, the TRQ2 is turned off after the delay of a time t0 because of the carrier storage effect. Consequently, the TRQ1 is turned on at the same time T1. When the TRQ2 is changed to the turn-on state from the turn-off state at a time T2, a current flowed to a bias resistance R2 is absorbed by the TRQ2 and is not flowed to the base of the TRQ1, and the base stored carrier of the TRQ1 is short-circuited by the TRQ2, and therefore, the turn-off time of the TRQ2 becomes very short. Consequently, the turn-off delay time due to the TRQ1 becomes zero approximately. |
