PURPOSE:To miniaturize a rotary drum type magnetic ore-separator by shortening the rising time of exciting current by a method in which a thyristor, a diode, and a segment are newly provided in the specific position of the electric circuit of the magnetic ore-separator and stored energy is effectively utilized. CONSTITUTION:In a magnetic ore-separator of electromagnet exciting type, a thyristor Th1 9 is newly provided between + segment 2-2 and C1 segment 2-1 of + side ring, a diode D1 7 is provided between + segment 2-2 and a capacitor 5, and also +h segment 2-3 is provided bofore the exciting start part of + segment 2-2. After the electromagnetic energy of electromagnetic coil L5 1 is stored in the capacitor 5, the thyristors Th1 9 and Th2 10 turn on, whereupon a voltage is applied between +h segment 2-3 and - ring 3 and the electromagnetic coil 11 moving onto the +h segment starts exciting. At this time, since current in vibrating state is flowed, response is made faster and ring time is made shorter. |
