PURPOSE:To cause all nozzles to produce stable ink jet streams at a high efficiency by preventing the interference of vibration between ink jet streams in the direction of the row of nozzles by providing plural cup-like vibrator plates and cup-like deflection vibrator elements on the wall of an ink chamber so that the focus of each element coincides with a corresponding nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Plural nozzles 6 are provided on the front wall of an ink chamber 9 and plural cup-like deflection vibrator elements 10 and plural cup-like vibrator plates 11 are also provided on the rear wall of the chamber 9 so that the focus of each element and plate agrees with a corresponding nozzle 6. By this arrangement, an ink jet stream excited by the cup-like vibrator plate 11 vibrates, and this vibration propagates toward the nozzle 6 as it converges, therefore the exciting efficiency of the cup-like deflection vibrator element 10 is considerably raised and the vibration of ink does not interfere with that of adjoining ink jet stream in the ink chamber 9, and resultantly the vibration of ink jet at the nozzle 6 is stabilized. |
