MANUFACTURE OF DECORATIVE LAMINATED MATERIAL HAVING RUGGED PATTERN

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled decorative laminated material excellent in operational stability and conformability of the patterns by a method wherein a resin layer containing thermal foaming agent is provided on a base, inked pattern layers containing water absorption expanding resin are provided so that they can be put on parts of the resin layer and then the pattern layers are coated with aqueous liquid. CONSTITUTION:The resin layer 2 containing foaming agent (example: vinyl chloride plastisol etc.) is provided on the base 1 and the inked pattern layers 4 containing 5-70% by weight, preferably 10-30% by weight of water absorptive resin (example: copolymer of starch, cellulose and unsaturated carbon acid, or the like) with print layers 3 are provided by screen printing or the like. Subsequently, the upper part of said pattern layer is coated by spraying or the like with aqueous liquid (example: aqueous varnish containing acryl resin or the like) 5 heated and expanded to obtain the desired decorative laminated material.
