PURPOSE:To obtain a copying machine for many copies of low power consumption and a simple constitution, by providing a means, which brings an ink donor and a cut paper into contact with each other closely by pressure, and carries them in parallel, on the heating element of the thermal recording head, then separating only the recording form, where information is recorded laready, from an ink donor member. CONSTITUTION:A platen 2 where an original should be set is arranged on a copying machine 1, and a read unit 4 is reciprocated relatively to this platen 2, and image information of the original is read out and is converted to an electric signal. Many heating elements are arranged across the direction of movement of an ink donor web 22, and a thermal recording head 28 is provided which records thermally the electric picture signal from the unit 14 onto a recording sheet 15. The sheet 15 from a recording paper supply cassette 14 is carried to a back roller 21 in accordance with a command from a sequence control circuit by a feeding roller 16 and etc. and is held. After that, the sheet 15 and the web 22 are brought into contact with each other closely and are carried along the roller 21, and image information is recorded by the head 28, and the sheet 15 is separated from the web 22, thus recording information on plural sheets. |
