PURPOSE:To obtain a new optical control type logical circuit device, by a logical circuit substrate mounting a plurality of Josephson elements and an optical path substrate propagating a control light to the Josephson elements. CONSTITUTION:A device consists of a logical circuit substrate constituting logical circuits using a plurality of Josephson elements J as switching elements, and of a controlling optical path substrate B provided with optical fibers F propagating controlling lights L which convert and control each Josephson element J from a zero voltage state to a voltage state. In the logical circuit substrate A, a plurality of Josephson elements J and a superconduction thin film 3 are formed on a major plane 2 of the substrate 1, and the controlling optical path substrate B has a substrate 5 made with through-holes 4 corresponding to the elements J on the substrate A, and free ends of optical fibers F are fixed in the through- holes 4 so that the ends are on the same plane as a major plane 6 of the substrate 5. |
