CUTTING METHOD IN CONTINUOUS MOLDING OF CYLINDRICAL MEMBER

PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth cut surface without generation of shavings, by cutting a cylindrical member with a laser cutter or a heat ray cutter. CONSTITUTION:A CO2 laser generator 20 of a cutting device 17 using a laser cutter is located rotatably on a rotary table 19. The rotary table 19 is attached elevatably to an elevator 18 arranged at one side of a cradle 24. 21 is a laser beam-condensing lens. When a predetermined length of pipelike resin material is fed out by a rate-measuring means of a pipe-like resin material arranged at the secondary haul-off equipment 13a, the laser generator 20 is driven to cut the pipe. The same effect is obtained by using a heat ray cutter instead of the laser generator.
