<p>The switches, visual indicators and control potentiometer screws associated with each monitoring channel are visible and accessible from the front panel without being attached to it. Switches and indications for two measuring channels are attached to a strip of printed circuit card which carries a number of components, e.g. resistors, common to two channels. The strip is parallel to the front panel and is fixed by right-angled welds to the main channel circuit card. The latter is held horizontally at right angles to the front panel. The main circuit cards are fixed by square brackets to a vertical mother board. External electrical signals are brought in through a conventional edge connector. Solder pins in the mother board allow specific electrical links to be made to the individual channel cards. The system is used for measuring appts.</p> |
