<p>The mineral breaker comprises a breaker drum rotatably mounted in a casing which extends about a portion of the periphery of the drum to partially envelope the drum. The breaker is adapted for connection to the delivery end of a conveyor so as tobe capable of breaking lumps of mineral being delivered from the conveyor and deposit the broken material to a position below the conveyor. The casing includes a pair of end walls sepd. by a wall which in cross-section is arcuate. The end walls rotatably support the breaker drum. One end wall includes an outwardly projecting spigot which is axially aligned with the drum. The mineral breaker includes a motor and gear box assembly, the housing of which is rotatably supported on the spigot.</p> |
