PURPOSE:To detect toner amt. accurately and improve the use efficiency of a toner recovery vessel by giving vibrations to said vessel to pack the toner densely, and detecting its level. CONSTITUTION:A toner recovery vessel 1 is attachably and detachably to the lower part of a cyclone 6, and a vibrator 4 under a fixed table 3 and a detector 2 detecting levels from the change in electrostatic capacity according to the presence or absence of the toner are provided. With this constitution, vibrations are given to the vessel 1 in the direction perpendicualr thereto by means of the vibrator 4 to maintain the toner surface level in the vessel constant and to prevent sticking of the toner on the inner side of the vessel 1, thence the level is detected. Thereby, the toner amt. is detected accurately, and since the toner is packed densely, the use efficiency of the vessel is improved. |
