A laterally adjustable cabinet rail (2) is attached to the furniture side wall (4) at the front and rear by means of attachment plates (3). The attachment plates (3) have flaps (5) which are punched out on three sides and through which attachment screws (6) project. Arranged between the attachment plates (3) and the furniture side wall (4) is a wedge-shaped slide (1).
