PURPOSE:To make a shaft supporting member rotatable by providing a locking means of locking one end part of a roller pressing means at a constant position detachably and by detaching the roller pressing means from the locking means. CONSTITUTION:When an eccentric cam 14 is rotated to push a movable piece 11 up against the pressure force of a spring 12, a rotating member 5 stops while pressed against a stopper member 8, and a side plate 4 is applied with pressure in the direction of a fixing roller 1 by the pressue force of the spring 12, so that a pessure roller 3 supported on the side plate 4 comes into contact with the fixing roller 1 with prescribed pressure. As a cam 14 is rotated at more than a prescribed angle, the eccentric cam 14 separates from the movable piece 11, and the side plate 4 becomes rotatable around the supporting shaft 7 of the rotating member 5 to separate the pressure roller 3 greatly from the fixing roller 1, thereby removing of jamming paper easily. |
