PURPOSE:To prevent fog and to obtain an image whose resolution has been improved, by arranging within the range of 10-15mum the diameter of particles of a toner consisting of a nonmagnetic substance, which is used when an electrostatic latent image formed on the surface for holding the image is developed with a fur brush roller. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a fur brush roller 2 which is slidingly rotated in the opposite direction to the surface of a photosensitive body 1 of a dry type electronic copying machine rotating in the direction as indicated with an arrow. As for the fur brush roller 2, a urethane layer 7 is provided on the circumference of a center axis 6, and on its outside circumferential surface, fur 9 is planted through a conductive adhesive layer 8. A toner 3 consisting of a nonmagnetic substance, which has arranged the diameter of particles to 10- 15mum and has been supplied from a toner supply case 4 passes through a conductive case 10, adheres to the fur 9, is adsorbed by an electrostatic latent image of the photosensitive body 1, and is developed. In this way, fog of an image due to a toner whose particles are too small is prevented, and deterioration of the image resolution due to a toner whose particles are too large is prevented, by which a stable picture is obtained. |
