PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a leaf spring made of bier-reinforced plastic, by cutting both the sides of the part of the leaf spring, which is tightened by U-bolts. CONSTITUTION:The central part of a leaf spring 1 is cut so that recesses 1d are provided. The legs of a pad 2 are fitted in the recesses 1d so that the leaf spring 1 is kept regularly piled up without using a center botl. The leaf spring 1 is tightened enough by U-bolts 4. |
