PURPOSE:To eliminate the problem of an overflow of the synonyms, by providing a balance type wooden backet, in case an overflow of the synonyms is caused when a storage address formed by the hash function is selected to the field value of a record. CONSTITUTION:A backet BCK that has an overflow of synonyms owing to the address obtained through a process using the hash function has a change of structure to be a root node RND of a balanced wooden structure BLD. As a result, an overflown record is stored somewhere of a leaf node LND via a plate BRC. Accordingly, all records are stored without fail into the node LND to eliminate the variance of the record access. |
