A transparent window such as windshield (2) with light emission layer that separates an interior of vehicle, emits visible light when light is beamed onto the light emission layer. A reflector (22) mounted in an optical path between optical source and the window, reflects the light. A projector (200) is arranged in optical path between optical source and the reflector. An independent claim is also included for motor vehicle.
