PURPOSE:To prevent the skip of a cam and a cam roller and avoid pinch-cutting or loose pinching, by operating a pinching plate in a prescribed manner according to a cam curve and by enabling the vertical movement of a pinching claw. CONSTITUTION:A pinching plate 12, which is operated by a pinching shaft cam roller 18 located in tight contact with a pinching shaft operating cam 19, a pinching claw moving unit including a pinching claw adjusting eccentric pin 28 capable of moving a pinching claw 11' perpendicularly or obliquely to the direction of a folding line depending on the change in the thickness of paper, etc. are provided. The pinching plate 12 is operated in a prescribed manner according to a cam curve. The pinching claw 11' can be moved up and down. According to this constitution, a cam operating shaft and a cam lever mechanism need no adjusters. For that reason, high-speed performance is improved. Since the pinching claw 11' can be moved, adjustment can be easily effected when the thickness of paper is changed. |
