<p>The sensor converts the oxygen content in a gas being analysed into an analogue electrical signal. The sensor consists of a single box contg. a magnetic circuit, an analysis chamber, and an electronic circuit complete with a power supply and even temp. regulation. Two adjusting screws are pref. used to move a V-shaped leaf spring to control the zero point of the appts. The parts of the sensor responding to oxygen pref. consist of two silica beads, each with a wt. below 0.5 mg. Pref. the beads are attached to a mirror suspended in an analysis chamber. In all types of industrial, chemical or petroleum appts., and/or to control the combustion of fuel or to trigger an alarm. Also for controlling air breathed by humans.</p> |
