High-heeled ladies shoe insole - comprising compressed fibre on S=shaped steel strip leaf-spring having holes at heel end to ensure correct location of heel

Insole assembly for a high-heeled ladies shoe consists of an insole made of compressed fibre material above an S-curved elastic leaf spring of steel strip. The latter has at the heel end an elongated and at the toe end a circular hole; punched U-shaped flaps in the insole are used to engage in these holes to join them. The mould for producing a plastic layer on the other side of the steel spring has two pins at the heel end. The holes left thereby are used to engage two pins in the prefabricated high heel. This guarantees a satisfactory location of the heel relative to the sole, without any manual fitting to ensure the attractive appearance.
