发明名称 ELECTRON TUBE CATHODE STRUCTURE BODY
摘要 PURPOSE:To extract thermoelectrons of the same or larger quantity than those by a thorium tungsten wire with the lower heater power by forming the element wire of a filament with a raw material added with one or both of cerium oxide (CeO2) and lanthanum oxide (La2O3) to a substrate of tungsten (W). CONSTITUTION:A tungsten wire added with one or both of La2O3 and CeO is used for the filament of a directly-heated cathode structure body in place of a thorium tungsten wire (thori-tun wire). The tungsten wire added with one or both of La2O3 and CeO2 can be applied with metallurgical wire drawing machining like the thori-tun wire and is applied with the treatment for providing a carbonized layer (W2C, WC) on the surface to improve the thermoelectron emission efficiency like the thori-tun wire. Accordingly, the heater input of an electron tube can be reduced.
