A flexible transparent band for use in sheet strip doors for closing entrances and exits of workshops or stores through which transporting or handling machines may travel, said doors being in the form of a plurality of vertical planar bands (1) provided with longitudinally extending parallel beads (2) which are equally spaced apart and project from each of the two faces of a band, characterised in that the distance between two beads (2) of a band (1) is so calculated that relatively sharp parts of said machine, whose width is of the order of magnitude of the width of the ends of lifting forks, always come into contact with at least two beads (2). |
