PURPOSE:To realize a parallel operation for plural programmable controllers (PC) based on a program, by transmitting and receiving the transition signal via a transmission line that connects the PCs and thus without applying a real wiring for the transition signal. CONSTITUTION:The conditions for actuation of an electromagnetic valve VC are obtained in accordance with execution of a program. Thus the valve VC works, and at the same time a transition signal omega is transmitted. This signal is then written into a memory M2 exclusive for the signal omega of each PC via a transmission line T. Then a PC3 reads the contents of an address X3 of the memory M2, and accordingly a sequence that closes a contact Tomega for the transition signal shown by S30 is executed. When the transmission/reception of the transition signal is required between the PCs during the execution of the sequence, a flag is set at the position of an address X4 for instance. Thereafter, a parallel operation is carried out through the transmission/reception of the flag. |
