Finishing for a top storey vertically to the direction of passage is easily provided by a separate setting frame for metal scaffolding. It is made up from two vertical frame tubes (1), arranged at an interval (A) corresponding to passage width. The height (H) of these slightly exceeds the distance of the handrail (4) from the storey walking surface. Their bottom ends are interconnected by a traverse (2), and their top ends by a horizontally aligned tube, or other metal profile, forming the handrail. At half height they may be further interconnected by another horizontal tube. Edge board bolts (3) may be provided on the traverse.
