<p>The automatic transfer machine with rotary indexing feed movement is for work. To be machined consecutively by machining units in individual stations. A fixed central support is rigidly secured coaxially between two carriers (4, 7) on which machining units are supported within the individual machining stations. An annular work carrier in the form of a cylinder is coaxially mounted on the central support for rotation indexing movement of the work carrier. Chucks for the workpieces are mounted on the outer periphery of the work carrier. The work carrier can be rigidly locked in the indexed positions for the particular machining stations. The two carriers are interconnected by rigid yokes within the individual stations.</p> |
