PURPOSE:To align the leading edges of an original and transfer paper to each other by resisting the transfer paper temporarily after feeding the transfer paper toward a photosensitive drum, by releasing the transfer paper from being resisted in synchronizing with the rotation of an original holding drum, and by feeding the transfer paper toward the photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:When a drum 105 turns and a gripper 114 faces to a cam 115, a top 144 is pushed up by the cam 115 to rotate a press plate 141, and consequently an opening is formed between the press plate 141 and the press member 105A of the drum 105 and, when the gripper 114 faces to the upper end 115A of the cam 115, the opening becomes maximum. After an original DOC is fed to the opening, the drum 105 further turns and then the top 144 separates from the cam 115, so that the original DOC is sandwiched between the press plate 141 and press member 105A. When the drum 105 holding the original DOC further turns and the gripper 114 faces to the lower end part 115B of the cam 115, the cam 115 pushes up the top 144 and a separation lever 145 to release the original DOC from the drum 105. |
