PURPOSE:To select an optimum measurement range quickly and accurately and perform measurement of high accuracy by segmenting the counting rate measurement range in radiation measurement to a large number of measurement ranges and performing automatic changing-over. CONSTITUTION:The input pulse signal from a radiation detector is supplied via an amplifying and discriminating circuit 1 and a waveform shaping circuit 2 to a logarithmic conversion circuit 3 and a range change-over circuit 5. The circuit 5 supplies the input signal from the circuit 2 in parallel to the switch circuits arranged sequentially by as much as the number of desired measurement ranges, has it conducted only through the switch circuit of the measurement range assigned and selected by the compared output signal from an output selecting circuit 4 and takes out the input signal of the selected range. The taken-out input signal is integrated in a linear conversion circuit 6, and is supplied to an output indicator 8 through a DC amplifier circuit 7. A range display circuit 9 displays the measurement ranges. |
