摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a display device having orientating films with high aging resistance and stability by forming each orientating film contg. the reaction product of a titanium chelate compound with an org. Al compound with an org. Al compound as the principal component on a plastic substrate provided with an electrically conductive transparent film. CONSTITUTION:An electrically conductive transparent film of In2O3 or the like is formed on each plastic film of polyethylene terephthalate, polyether sulfone, polycarbonate or the like as a substrate. About 100pts.wt. titanium chelating agent such as titanium di-i-propoxy-bis(acetylacetonate) is mixed with 40- 80pts.wt. org. Al compound such as Al(C2H5)3 or Al(C2H5)2Cl and dissolved in toluene. This soln. is applied to the transparent film, dried, and heat treated. The surface of a film produced by the reaction of both the components is then rubbed with cotton cloth or the like to form an orientating film. Thus, a liq. crystal display device having orientating films with superior aging resistance and stability is obtd. with high productivity.</p>
