[Also in Divisions A4 and H2] An improvement in the transverse track assembly claimed in Claim 13 of the parent Specification consists in that the rear wall 87, Fig. 2, of the hollow tracks is non-magnetic and electrically conductive. The field generating means 144 and a quantity of ferromagnetic material 129 disposed on opposite sides of the wall 87 are connected by electrical insulating material 127, 123 extending through a slot 83 in the track. In another embodiment the material 129 is disposed within the track and the means 144 outside the track.</p> |
