PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy compensation for the joints of picture signals of plural solid state pickup elements, by providing a joint compensating marker at the original reading position of a plane scanning facsimile of original shift type and then putting in and taking out the marker. CONSTITUTION:Solid state image sensors 1 and 2 plus lens systems 3 and 4 are distributed, and an original 5 sent through a paper feeder is stopped in front of the reading position or transported in a low speed. Then a marker 7 having a prescribed size and density is pushed out by a driving part 9 and along a guide 8 and crosses a device 6 to be pushed in up to the tangent line part between an original feed roller 10 and a transparent glass 11. After this, the marker 7 is formed into an image to the sensors 1 and 2 through the systems 3 and 4. Based on the two marker signals of the sensors 1 and 2, the phase control is performed for the transfer gate pulses of the sensors 1 and 2. |
