PURPOSE:To enable the appropriate and continuous measurement of a sludge concentration distribution ranging from a bottom part of a condensating tank to a water level thereof, by a method wherein moving of a sludge sensor is controlled by means of a signal obtained through the measurement of a relative position between a rake of a sludge raking-up device and the sludge sensor. CONSTITUTION:A rake of a sludge raking-up device 12, turned by a driving gear 14, is placed in a condensing tank 10, and meanwhile, a signal from a sludge sensor 18, moved vertically by a driving gear 20, is sent to a measuring device 16 to measure a sludge concentration distribution in the condensing tank 10. In said apparatus, provided T1-T2 is an elapsing time, during which the sensor 18 reaches a sidestep position (height H2 being higher than the rotation region of the rake of the sludge raking-up device 12) froma bottom part (height H1) of the tank 10, T5-T6 is an elapsing time during which the sensor 18 transfer from H2 to H1, and T3-T4 is an elapsing time (T2-T3, and T4- T5 are a surplus time), times at T1, T2, T5, and T6 of the sludge raking-up device 12 are detected, and the sensor 18 is moved by the signal. |
