Sliding door, especially for road and rail vehicles, with at least one door leaf which, during opening, is pushed beyond the outer vehicle wall and, during closing, is inserted flush into the side wall, in which sliding door the door leaf is carried, via a connecting member, by a carrier element, such as a slide, carriage or the like, displaceable without rotation in a guide, the connecting member being mounted both on the carrier element and on the door leaf so as to be pivotable about a vertical axis in each case and being designed as a controlled lever, of which the end connected to the door leaf executes, as a result of the lever control, a horizontal additional movement continuous with the movement of the carrier element and parallel to the door aperture. |
