PURPOSE:To control the tension of a material at predetermined value by controlling the DC motor for driving a reel according to results obtained by computing the field magnetic flux of the DC motor for driving the reel and a diameter of winding of the material. CONSTITUTION:An inertia compensating computing element 3 outputs inertia compensating signals compensating the inertia of the spiral material wound on the reel on the basis of the speed signals of the DC motor. Material tension set value F obtained by adding the inertia compensating signals and material tension set value Tm and compensating inertia is multiplied by material winding diameter signals D outputted from a coil diameter detector 5. On the other hand, a discriminating computing element 11 outputs a constant 1 when the speed of revolution is N0 or lower and field magnetic flux PHI is fixed and signals PHIo/PHI when the speed of revolution is No or higher and the field magnetic flux is within a field-weakening range. A computing element 7 multiplies the output of a multiplier 6 and the output of the discriminating computing element 11, and outputs the value to an armature current controller 8 as armature current reference signals. |
