<p>The equipment dewaters and dries material in bulk, particularly shredded plastic waste, having a rotor in a housing and with material guide and air intake vanes round the periphery and in a staggered pattern in its lengthwise direction. The rotor is enclosed in a sieve cage, and as it turns it transports the material along inside the latter and dries it in the process. At the drying section the rotor has annular chambers between opposite radial vanes. These can be formed by discs on rotor shaft, spaced apart in the axial direction.</p> |
