<p>PURPOSE:To renew an exhaust gas purifying filter of a Diesel engine using only one burner. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas from a Diesel engine is led through an exhaust gas inflow conduit 6 furnished in a filtrating device to flow into one side of a filter element 2 from the open side passage 7' of selector valves 5, 5', and upon getting rid of fine particles is exhausted off. While the filter element 2 is in stoppage, a lever 19 and a pin 20 are rotated to change the open-closed positions of the exhaust gas selector valves 5, 5' fixed on the shaft 10, and thus the exhaust gas is led to that filter element 2 situated on the other side. The open-closed position of a flame selector valve 17 fixed on the shaft 10 is changed over at the same time and flames at the burner 15 are led to the filter element on stoppage side. Thus fine particles at the filter element are burnt off.</p> |
