PURPOSE:A non-oiling precision sliding part with prolonged stable lubricating performance, prepd. by forming a uniform coat having lubricating properties and wear resistance on a sliding section by the reaction of an organometalic compd. applied to the surface of the sliding section. CONSTITUTION:A solid lubricating film formed by the pyrolysis or hydrolysis of an organometallic compd. is adhered to the surface of a sliding part, by the application of a soln. of an organometallic compd. such as Al(OC3H7)3 or CH3Si(OCH3) in an org. solvent to the surface of the precision sliding part, followed by drying and calcination. For example, when application to train wheels of a wristwatch, a solid lubricating film of friction coefficient (mu) 0.05-3 and pencil hardness 3H-9H having sufficient practical life is obtd. by forming a film of thickness about 0.1-2mu by calcination at a about 60-250 deg.C for about 5-120min. |
