PURPOSE:To prevent damage of an objective lens, by installing a cover to the objective lens when it is not used, and detaching it and briging it close to a disk when recording and reproducing. CONSTITUTION:When recording and reproducing, a plunger 31 is operated, a protective cover 28 is moved to the right through a coupling body, is opened, and an optical system 25 projects to the upper part of an upper plate 27. According to such a constitution, the objective lens is protected. |
