1339830 Avoidance of particle agglomeration UENO FINE CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 22 July 1971 [24 July 1970] 34488/71 Heading B2E Particles consisting of a cone material coated with hardened oil melting at a temperature in the range 45-85‹C are allowed to stand for at least 20 hours at a temperature greater than 25‹C but lower than the softening point of the hardened oil before adding 0.3-5% of a caking inhibitor. The core material may be a human or veterinary medicine, an agricultural chemical or a food additive. The hardened oil is preferably beef tallow, hardened whale oil, hardened rape seed oil, hardened soyabean oil, hardened cotton seed oil or hardened castor oil. Specified caking inhibitors are silica, calcium stearate, magnesium stearate, magnesium aluminosilicate, magnesium carbonate or tertiary calcium phosphate. |
