PURPOSE:To easily and uniformly electrodeposit fine particles only on one side, by electrodepositing fine particles on one side of a thin-band conductor which is continuously conveyed by electrophoresis, drying the surface of the conductor, and then removing the deposit on the pat other than the electrodeposited side. CONSTITUTION:The thin-band conductor 1 delivered from the delivery roll 2 of a conductor delivery means S1 is wound on the winding roll 3 of a conductor winding means S5, and continuously conveyed. The conductor 1 is passed through an electrodeposition tank S2, and conveyed through the inside of a electrodeposition soln. contg. desired fine particles while bringing the one side into contact with an insulating sheet. A voltage is impressed between the conductor 1 and an electrode separately arranged in the electrodeposition tan S2. As a result, the fine particles are electrophoretically deposition on the other side of the conductor 1. The conductor 1 is then passed through a tunnel dryer S3, and the surface of the conductor is dried at about 100-800 deg.C. The deposit on the part other than the electrodeposited side of the conductor 1 is removed by using a rotating brush S4.
