<p>The chain link is in two halves (1,2). One end is forked and the other end will fit in the fork. Each of the end joints is bored to take a shear pin (3). The pin is located by a split spring clip (4). The clip is split longitudinally (6) and has two circumferential slits to form a central lug (7). The lug is sprung over a central throat (5) in the dowel pin. The end lugs (9) are held tightly over the dia. of the pin.</p> |
