PURPOSE:To facilitate the exchange of the bottom blow tuyere by drawing the double pipe for gas flowing, thereafter dismantling and removing the sleeve refractories for attaching the double pipe and installing the new sleeve refractories attached with the double pipe in the site where the former was located. CONSTITUTION:The double pipe 7 of the bottom tuyere of the bottom blow converter is inserted into the sleeve refractories 6 composed of refractory units 6a1- 6a6, the sleeve refractories are fixed in interiors 4a, 5a of the tuyere permanent refractory 4 and the tuyere refractory 5. When the double pipe 7 composing the tuyere and the sleeve refractories 6 are fused and damaged by blast refining operation and have to be exchanged, at first fastening of the sustaining metal frame 9 of the double pipe 7 and the steel plate 1 of the converter bottom is loosened and the double pipe 7, the metal frame 9 and the sleeve refractories sustaining metal frame 8 are drawn from the furnace body. Then, the sleeve refractories 6 are dis mantled and removed, the new sleeve assembly attached with the double pipe 7 prepared bedies is inserted into the drawn hollow where the metal frame 8 was located, thus exchange is readily finished. |
