PURPOSE:To surely improve air-tightness and liquid leak-proof, by forming the mouth edge part of a positive pole can, touching the side wall periphery of a gasket, in almost equal thickness and finishing the internal wall of said mouth edge part in a smooth cylindrical surface along the whole circumference. CONSTITUTION:A positive pole compound 10 and separator 11 are housed in positive pole can 5, and a zinc compound 9 and alkaline electrolyte 6 are placed in the inside of a negative pole can 8 fitted with a gasket 7, then this negative pole can 8 is accommodated in the positive pole can 5. Thereafter, a mouth edge part 5a of the positive pole can is folded inside, and the gascket 7 is tightened by internal walls of the positive pole can 5 and an external shoulder part 8a of the negative pole can 8 and sealed to form a cell. The mouth edge part 5a of this positive pole can 5 is formed in almost equal thickness and the internal wall of said can is formed in a cylindrical shape and smooth along the whole circumference thus the mouth edge part 5a of the positive pole can is tightened to obtain good compression force of the gascket 7. |
