PURPOSE:To enhance the characteristics at the middle and high ranges for the speaker by securing the multi-layer structure for the edge which supports the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:The edge which supports the speaker diaphragm is constituted with 1st layer 15 composed of the expanded urethane and 2nd layer 18 which is obtained by coating the mixture solution of fine grain synthetic mica 17 and liquid thermoplastic resin 16 such as the urethane rubber or the like over layer 15. Then furthermore the expanded urethane is stacked over layer 18 to secure 3rd layer 19. As the internal loss of mica 17 is large, the speaker characteristics can be enhanced at the middle and high ranges. |
