The container accommodates dental instruments, particularly for drilling and grinding, and comprises a cover fitting over a base, the latter housing the instrument stems and having a protruding boss fitting inside the cover. A non-detachable label fits over the dividing line between them. At the dividing line (4) a peripheral recessed step is formed, constituting a shoulder ending before the boss (6), so as to produce a groove (8) allowing easy cutting of the label (9), and also to allow the cover to be easily and smoothly pulled off.
