PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight, strong and economical substrate having high heat radiation and high condensation of light as well by a method wherein electrical insulating resin is baked after applying anodic oxidation to Al or Al alloy. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 3 for solar battery is composed of an insulating layer 4 and a metal plate 5. The metal layer 5 is composed of Al or Al alloy and an anodic oxide layer 11 is formed on the surface of the layer 5 by anodic oxidation. Furthermore, electrical insulating regin 10 is baked on the layer 11. In this way, minute holes and cracks existing on the anodic oxide layer are sealed by the resin 10 and at the same time, close contact of these resin layers is improved. And the anodic oxide layer is hard and a mechanically stable film can be obtained comparing with the substrate having an insulating resin layer only. |
