PURPOSE:To obtain an economical roller having a short rising time by constituting a roller and a heater as different bodies, by employing a cartridge type to provide the heater detachably in the roller, and by setting the heater in closely contact with the internal surface of the roller. CONSTITUTION:A heat roller 1 so formed that a heater 3 of a catridge type is set in closely contact with the internal surface of a roller 2 arranged rotatably. The heater 3 has a ''Nichrome wire '' bound with magnesium oxide and covered with a metal sheath (stainless steel for heat resistance). Equipping the heater 3 on the internal surface of the roller 2 conducts the heat of the heater 3 directly to the roller 2, so the time when the surface temperature of the roller 2 reaches a prescribed temperature is shortened. When it is necessary to replace the heater 3 or roller 2, either one in trouble is only replaced. |
