A dispensing pack for small stackable articles, e.g. pencil sharpeners, rubbers &c., comprises a transparent plastics compartment 1, Fig. 1, attached by its marginal flange 6 to a base sheet 5, Fig. 2, the articles being withdrawn through an aperture in the lower end of the front face of the compartment. In one embodiment, this aperture may be provided with resilient flaps 8, 9, Figs. 1, 5 (latter not shown), cut out of or welded or stitched to the front face of the compartment, with finger apertures 10 cut out of its sides. Alternatively, a single resilient flap (11), Fig. 4 (not shown), may be provided. In further modifications, the lower end (16) of the compartment, Figs. 6, 7, 11-13 (not shown), may be enlarged so that finger apertures and flaps may be cut out of the front face. Alternatively, a hinged resilient flap (29), Figs. 11, 13 (not shown), may be provided on one side of the aperture. Beading or corrugations (20), Fig. 10 (not shown), may be provided at the lower end of the compartment to increase its rigidity. Two or more compartments may be formed from a single foil sheet, Fig. 11 (not shown), the whole assembly being welded to a single base sheet along the marginal edges and the intervening panels. |
