PURPOSE:To facilitate flushing operation by providing a weir, having many cut openings, over a metering tank and by forcing a fluid on the internal wall of the metering tank to flow with another fluid introduced from the cut openings. CONSTITUTION:At the upper and internal part of a metering tank 10 having an opening atop and a conical lower part, a weir 13 which consists of a horizontal bottom part 14 stuck to the internal wall of the tank 10, a vertical wall part 16 raised from the internal circumferential edge 16 of the horizontal bottom part 14, and many triangular cut openings 17 provided to the upper end of the part 16 is provided. At the upper center part of the tank 10, a feed pipe 18 is provided and in the space between the tank 10 and internal wall, a feed pipe 19 also provided; and the tip of the tank 10 is connected to a reaction can through piping 11 having a valve 12. A prescribed quantity of a fluid A is metered from the feed pipe 18 and then introduced into the reaction can through the piping 11; and a fluid B is fed from the feed pipe 19 to the weir 13, and then drops from the cut openings 17 to the internal wall surface of the tank 10 to flow the fluid A forcibly, thus flushing the tank 10. |
