PURPOSE:To obtain a alloy thin plate which is excellent in soft magnetic property and endurable for 180 deg. bending and has excellent workability by jetting melted Fe- Co-Si alloy on to a roll rotating at high speed and by cooling it rapidly. CONSTITUTION:In the state that gas for preventing oxidation, such as Ar gas, is introduced from gas-introducing ports 1d and 3a into a heating pipe 1a, a base material 4 of Fe-Co-Si alloy is melted by heating by a heater 1b. In addition, so as to improve the workability for mechanical strength, etc., one or two kinds or more of V, Nb, Cr, Sb and the like are added thereto as subconstituents as occasion calls. The base material 4 thus melted is jetted, by a nozzle 1c, between rolls 2a and 2b rotating at high speed and is cooled rapidly and rolled by the rolls 2a and 2b, whereby a thin alloy plate 4' is obtained. The thin plate thus obtained is subjected to heat treatment by a method wherein the plate is heated at a temperature higher than the recrystallization temperature and and lower than the melting point in a nonoxidizing ambience of hydrogen gas or the like and is cooled then at an appropriate speed. By this constitution, the soft magnetic property can be improved remarkably. |
